District Governor, Neil Black invites you and your fellow club members to the District 9600 Rotary Conference in Kingaroy.
From the 26 - 28 March we can offer you a true country experience with an assortment of world class presenters with plenty of opportunities to learn and relax, amongst friends.
Neil was born and raised in Kingaroy and knows first hand the beauty and generosity of the people of the South Burnett.
Of importance to every Rotarian, is that your attendance will contribute to the Kingaroy economy hard hit after many years of drought and recently fires and floods. As a result, all funds raised at the conference will go to support Youth suicide prevention programs in the South Burnett region.
Neil grew up on the family farm and learned from a very early age that everyone had a role and to chip in and help. Only through hard work and
determination would you prevail in life. Unfortunately not everyone has that supporting environment with positive role models and Neil, together with members of the Rotary Club of Kingaroy, want to address this problem.
Neil was inducted into the Kingaroy Rotary club in May 2009 and during his Rotary career he has held many club positions including Foundation Chair and president and District Public Relations director and Assistant Governor .
